Yesterday the weather was really warm so we were finally able to spend some time outside. We went to the park, which is right around the corner from our house. It was nice to be able to get out and stretch our legs. I know that Clay really enjoyed it. Clay had his 2 year checkup yesterday and is finally gaining some weight. It has taken him awhile. We also went to see the opthamologist to see what could be done about his clogged tear ducts. The doctor said that after a year it is very unlikely they will open on their own. So next Thursday they will take him in and do a 15 minute procedure to clear the obstruction in both eyes. Hopefully it will go well.

The doctors visit on Thursday went well. We are now down to once a week checkups. I am dilated to a 1 and 30% effaced which means out of the 5 weeks I have left I will go 5 more weeks. I was hoping for something more but things seem to be going well. Today Clay and I spent the day moving things around in his room to make room for another dresser. I washed baby clothes and so I think we are pretty much set. I know many of you are wondering about names but we still haven't come up with one. Hopefully we will have one by the time he is born.

Well, welcome to our blog! We have a lot of things going right now. I think this will be a great way to keep in touch with everyone. Clay just turned 2 on April 9th and is now a full-blown 2 year old. We had a little party with grandparents and aunts and uncles. Shane requested a truck cake, so my mom helped me make a monster truck. I will try to figure out out to post pictures of his birthday party soon. Shane just returned from Huntsville, Alabama where they finally launched the rocket they had been building all semester. He was gone for 5 days and was pretty glad to get home. They drove 3900 miles in a mini van and went through 17 states. They won 3 awards so they did pretty well.
