Fun Times in SV!
We have been in Star Valley a little over a week now. It has been fun to spend time with my family. Clay has been able to go swimming and ride the horse this week. He had a great time doing both. He is kind of funny. He doesn't show much excitement when doing things but you know that he likes it when he has to get out of the pool or get off the horse. He usually throws a fit. So here are some pictures of the pool and riding the horse. I also wanted to put on some pictures of Star Valley for those who have never been here. It is really nice and green and a lot cooler than Logan.
We are going camping up Grey's River for the 4th of July. We do it every year with my Dad's side of the family. We went when Clay was just a few months old and now its Broden's turn. It should be fun. I think that Clay is starting to enjoy having a little brother. He always wants to hold him and gives him more than enough hugs and kisses.
Shane is doing well. We found out that he is going to be able to come and visit for a few days. He will fly into Salt Lake on the 24th. It is the weekend of the big Robinson reunion so we will be heading back up to Star Valley. He may be lonely now but he will get to see all of his family during his visit. I am so excited to see him!!! After that he will have 4 more weeks and he will be coming home.
Anyway we wish you all a happy 4th of July!!!

Star valley
We are now in Star Valley for the summer except for a few trips to Logan to check on the house. We had fun at the Robinson reunion on saturday. It was fun to see all of the cousins. They roasted a whole pig that night for dinner. It tasted better than it looked. I will put up pictures later. Clay and Broden have both enjoyed being here. Clay hasn't been bored since we got here.(Neither have his uncles:) Broden has had someone to hold him all of the time. Clay wanted to help make dinner yesterday. I am not sure how many potatoes he peeled but he sure played the part! Broden is getting so big he is at least 9 lbs now and even has a double chin. He smiled the other day which was so cute! He is such a good baby for which I am really grateful. Shane is doing well. I think that he is a little homesick although he would never admit it to anybody. He really enjoys the work and people at JPL and keeps pretty busy. The weekend was a little hard on him since he didn't have much to do and was all by himself. He is glad to be there though and is having a great experience. 1 week down 9 more to go!!!

Too Big!
So I forgot to take a picture of Broden in his blessing suit. It was kind of a crazy day. I finally remembered to take one yesterday and it doesn't fit! I could barely get it on him and definitely couldn't do it up. Oh Well I guess. It is really cute. My mom did a great job. I think Clay has finally decided that having a little brother is ok. He wanted to hold him yesterday so I let him hold him by himself so I could take some pictures. He thought he was the big man on campus!

Summer Fun
We have had a busy week. Shane's Aunt and uncle came from Illinois for a couple of weeks so there was a lot of family get-togethers. I think Shane really enjoyed it since it will be awhile before he will see his family again. Clay enjoyed every minute of it. His Uncle Tyler took him for a 4-wheeler ride and then he wanted to sit on the 4-wheeler the rest of the time. He also found one of Grandma's pots of dirt and had a great time. He decided he was done playing in it once he tasted it!
We went to Bear Lake on Saturday for the Best family reunion. It was fun to see all of my cousins. We didn't realize that Clay loved the water so much. The water was pretty cold so we went to the outdoor pool at the condo. Clay jumped right in and was pretty upset when it was time to get out.
We went and played in the sprinkler with some of our friends yesterday. Clay enjoyed their trike and wagon more than he did the cold water. It was fun just to be out in the warm weather.
We took Shane to the airport Tuesday morning. He will be gone until August 22. He is staying in a dorm room on the campus of Cal-tech and then he takes a bus to JPL everyday. He is really enjoying it so far. He is really impressed with JPL and the people who work there. He says that they are all really nice. I think it will be a good experience for him. I miss him a lot already though, but I am glad he is enjoying himself.
We are heading to Star Valley tomorrow for a couple of weeks to stay with my parents. The Robinson reunion also starts tomorrow so we will be seeing all of Shane's family too. It should be fun!

Wow, it has been a long time since I have posted anything. Basically the only time I have to do it without the help of Clay is when he is taking his nap and lately that is when I have been taking a nap too! I just wanted to thank everyone for coming to the blessing. It was so good to see everyone!
We finally got Broden in for his 2 week check-up even though he was a little over 3 weeks old. He is doing really well. He weighed 8 lbs and 9 oz and measured 21 inches long. He is starting to stay awake longer, which has been fun. He will be a month old tomorrow. Time goes so fast!!
Shane has been keeping very busy with work, getting ready to go to California. He did find time to trim the trees in the front yard, which he was very proud of. So I thought I would include a picture of his HUGE pile of limbs. He leaves in 5 days. I am trying not to think of it because I just want to cry. Ten weeks is a very long time. I am hoping that by being in Wyoming will help time pass quicker.
Clay is adjusting. I was wondering there for awhile if he ever would. He was throwing some major tantrums and spent a lot of time in time-out. Now he really likes to hold Broden and understands that I can't hold him while feeding him. He had his first ice cream cone by himself the other day. As you can see by the picture he really enjoyed it. We are still waiting for nice weather so we can try out our new stroller but we have yet to see it.
