Summer Fun

We have had a busy week. Shane's Aunt and uncle came from Illinois for a couple of weeks so there was a lot of family get-togethers. I think Shane really enjoyed it since it will be awhile before he will see his family again. Clay enjoyed every minute of it. His Uncle Tyler took him for a 4-wheeler ride and then he wanted to sit on the 4-wheeler the rest of the time. He also found one of Grandma's pots of dirt and had a great time. He decided he was done playing in it once he tasted it!
We went to Bear Lake on Saturday for the Best family reunion. It was fun to see all of my cousins. We didn't realize that Clay loved the water so much. The water was pretty cold so we went to the outdoor pool at the condo. Clay jumped right in and was pretty upset when it was time to get out.
We went and played in the sprinkler with some of our friends yesterday. Clay enjoyed their trike and wagon more than he did the cold water. It was fun just to be out in the warm weather.
We took Shane to the airport Tuesday morning. He will be gone until August 22. He is staying in a dorm room on the campus of Cal-tech and then he takes a bus to JPL everyday. He is really enjoying it so far. He is really impressed with JPL and the people who work there. He says that they are all really nice. I think it will be a good experience for him. I miss him a lot already though, but I am glad he is enjoying himself.
We are heading to Star Valley tomorrow for a couple of weeks to stay with my parents. The Robinson reunion also starts tomorrow so we will be seeing all of Shane's family too. It should be fun!
