Shane went to a conference this last week for 6 days. We packed up and went to my parents. My sister had her wisdom teeth out on Friday so we drove to Rexburg to visit her. It was fun. I haven't been there since I graduated in 2004. So many things have changed. The house I lived in is now a law office and they now have their own temple. The boys were actually very good travelers which was nice.
Clay got to help my dad feed the horses at night even though a couple of nights it was zero degrees. He didn't seem to mind. He was in heaven riding on the tractor.
We visited my grandma. It is funny that although Clay hasn't visited that often since this summer, he went straight to the toys when we walked in the house. Broden really likes Muffy, my grandma's poodle. She doesn't like him though and especially the hair pulling he gives her.
We also visited Grandma and Grandpa Robinson. Clay got to play with cousin Anson and Uncle Marion took him out to feed the pigs with him.
My mom and I made necklaces one day which was fun. I am not very good at it but I think they turned out ok.
I love going to visit and it was especially fun to spend some one on one time with my mom while everyone was at school. I had a great time and it was a much needed break. After a couple of days I really missed Shane though and it reminded me of this last summer. It looks like we are going to do a remake of last summer. USU has lost funding and can't pay Shane for this summer so JPL offered him his position from last summer. We hate to do it again but we feel like it is the best thing to do.
