Broden has turned 2!

Our baby is 2!  It is hard for me to believe.  Time has gone by so fast.  It is funny I guess I just expected to get another"Clay"  but he is the total opposite.  He is very mischievous, always getting into things.  He has a mind of his own and always does what I don't want him to do.  He loves trucks and dinosaurs.  He is a terrible sleeper.  Clay wasn't good at sleeping either but he grew out of that at about 20 months.  We are still hoping... He is a talker.  He is jabbering constantly. Clay didn't start saying much of anything until he turn 3.  Broden says pretty much anything.  He loves to give hugs and can be seen several times a day with his arm around my neck.  He loves his big brother and follows him everywhere.  He gets mad if he can't do what Clay is doing.  I am hoping that with help with the potty training!  He is so fun to have around and we are grateful to have him in our family.  Happy Birthday Buddy!

Eric's Wedding

My brother Eric recently got married.  I now have a new sister.  I am excited!  Her name is Michelle and Clay just loves her to death.  The boys and I spent a few days before the wedding in Star Valley.  One day Eric was teasing Clay and said, "Clay, Michelle is my girl" and gave her a hug and a kiss.  Clay being the tender-hearted little boy he is was devastated and started crying.  Finally I was able to explain to him that Michelle was going to be Eric's wife but she was going to be his aunt and she could never be Eric's aunt.  That made him feel better and the rest of the time he kept telling Eric that Michelle was his aunt and not Eric's.  We are excited to have her in our family!

Happy Birthday Clay!

Our little boy is 4!  It doesn't seem that long ago that we brought him home from the hospital.  He has grown up a lot this year.  He loves to talk and does so constantly.  He loves tractors, trucks and any kind of construction machinery.  He can name all of the different kinds, which is amazing since to me they all look alike.  He loves his trike and the sandbox. His favorite foods are pizza and juice.  He always gives me hugs when I make pizza and tells me what a good cook I am.   He is a good big brother.  It is not always easy for him but many times I will catch him sharing something with Broden or helping him.  I am grateful he is in our family.  He is such a fun little boy!
