Moving on

Well we have officially moved. I wish I had some pictures to post of our new place but our camera was stolen right before we moved.  Shane finally admitted that it was really gone last night and ordered me a new one.  So there will be pictures soon to come.  I just wanted to thank our families for all of their help while we moved.  I know we wouldn't have gotten through it as smoothly as we did without them.  They helped so much with babysitting, packing, hauling, and cleaning and I am so grateful.  We have done a few fun things since we have moved in that I am sad I didn't get pictures of.  We have gone to Bear Lake a few times.  Shane's family owns a plot and it is fun to go and camp.  We went there for the Jeppson reunion and then 2 days later spent a couple of days there with some of our friends from our old ward.  It was a great time.  We came back from Bear Lake and then on Wednesday the boys and I packed up and went with my mom and brother to Park City for the Best reunion.  We spent more time at the lake.  The boys absolutely love the water now.  Clay is continually asking me when we are going back to the beach.    We got home Friday afternoon just in time to go to a ward party with our old ward and to listen to the fun times they had at Martin's cove.  Saturday morning we were able to go out in our front yard and watch a parade celebrating 150 years since the founding of our small town.  The boys had a blast.  They got a TON of candy and were so good about cleaning up every last piece.   Today we were officially released from our callings and will be attending our new ward next week.  I am a little nervous but am excited to meet new people and make new friends.

Catching up!

A few things have happened this month... We celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary.  Shane's mom told us she was going to take the kids overnight.  We kept it pretty low key by going to dinner and a movie.  The greatest part was sleeping in the next morning.  A luxury I have not had in a long time.  It was great to spend some time together without the kids.
We went to the Robinson reunion.  It was so fun to see all of Shane's cousins.  We couldn't stay the whole time because we had to get back for church.  My mom kept the kids because she was coming to Logan for a doctors appointment.  So we had a few more days to ourselves.  I wanted to get some heavy duty cleaning done while they were gone because we will be moving in 2 weeks.  We found a great place not far from here that is a lot bigger and only a little bit more a month than we are paying now.  I am excited but at the same time I will miss our ward.
Shane celebrated his 29th birthday so we are now the same age for awhile.  My mom and I made him a raspberry creme pie instead of cake and he loved it.  The boys loved helping him open his presents.
We also got to help my Uncle Al at summerfest.  I don't know if any of you have ever heard of him but he is a great artist.  Many of his paintings have been in the Ensign. We have quite a few of his paintings.  I really like his new antique series.  You are welcome to check out his website at alrounds.com
Anyway that is what has been going on this month for us.  We hope the summer is going well for you and you are enjoying the warm weather!

Camping in Wyoming

For Memorial weekend my sister Holly came from Provo and rode with the boys and I to Wyoming.  Shane had to work.  We met my parents where they were already camping.  The first night it rained pretty much the whole time.

Broden woke up at 6:15 like usual and went and hopped in with my parents!  We ended up going to my parent's house a lot earlier than planned on Saturday afternoon.

Sunday afternoon after church, we went to the cemetery to visit my grandpa's grave.  It was hard for Clay to understand that people were buried there.

Later, we went back up to our camping spot.  The boys had a great time because by then it had decided to quit raining.  We made dutch oven chicken, potatoes and cobbler.  So good!  The boys had a lot of fun playing in the hammock with Jaden.  Broden would get mad every time he had to get out.

Monday my dad got out the horses.  The boys were super excited!

They both had a lot of fun playing with my brothers!

The boys needed a bath something terrible!  It took some scrubbing but we got them clean! It sure was fun! Thanks for taking us Mom and Dad!
